In Australia and America onion dip is made by combining packet French Onion soup with sour cream, plus lemon juice or vinegar. It's stronger and zestier than the Kiwi-Style Onion Dip. But the packet soup contains beef and wheat products and, needless to say, the sour cream is no good for lactose intollerant, or cruelty-intollerant people. We spent a lot of time trying to come up with a vegan alternative and we did it.

    We encourage local customers to return their empty jars when new products are being delivered or picked up. This saves impact on the environment. Undamaged jars, especially with in-tact labels can be sterilised and reused.
